Julian really wanted to go to an activity at school tonight but had no idea what it was. He just knew the 2 middle schools did it together, and to him I think that meant more exposure to girls. Well, I get him there only to find out it is Campus Life. HAHA. Julian went to Campus life! I think he had fun, but you know the details I got.
"How was is?" "ok"
"What did you do?" "nothing"
So they went and sat there staring at the walls for an hour, I guess that would just be ok. But since I have been to Campus Life before, I know they had fun!
Caroline is adjusting to school life, it hasn't been easy for her. Unlike Julian and Taylor, she is very quiet and can be very shy. She isn't retaining information very well yet, but hopefully that will come around as the year progresses.
Taylor, on the other hand, as my Grandpa McCabe put it once, "is full of wild abandon" And everyday I understand more why he said that.
Julian has an ego bigger than anything I could have ever imagined. It is wonderful to watch him and all his confidence. He is doing well adjusting to middle school. It has hit him that this is harder than elementary school, especially advanced Math and English. I think we are going to be recruiting Mama Dee as an English tutor soon!
I have been doing laundry and when I finish that I do the dishes, and when I'm done with dishes I do the laundry, when everything is put away I do the dishes again!
For our itchy anniversary we went to Rascal Flatts Friday night, it was great!! And tomorrow we are going to a doctor dinner. Equation time..... doctor dinner=free dinner!
